The Lead programmer

Study: Informatica 1e year (& second). HIO
Hobby's: Uhhhm let me think..... Computing( C&C, Xw vs Tf, Jedi Knight, etc ), My trains, watching StarTrek and other Sci-Fi.
So, I'm the lead programmer (the only one, so I'm the boss). My job is to build a (working) program that shows the plot of one of the three functions stated (thus not the Microsoft way).
What should the program do:
Well. First of all display the function on screen, and calculate the co-ordinates of a given point on the X-axes with the help of linear interpolation. Second. You can alter the size of the pieces who are before and after the given co-ordinates to calculated the interpolation and display the different.
